The course is designed to equip medical professionals and healthcare workers with the skills and knowledge to effectively manage elderly individuals. We will expect our participants to be able to deliver the best quality of care to their patients on completion of this 8 week course. The course is certified by City & Guilds UK.

  • Lesson 2: Hygiene and Personal Care & Perineal Care & Diet and Nutrition Care

  • Lesson 3: Prevention of Falls & Pressure Ulcer Care & Wound Care

  • Lesson 4: Oxygen Therapy Administration & Medication Administration

  • Lesson 5: Food Safety & Infection Control

  • Lesson 6: Dementia Care, Stroke Care & Heart Attack Care

  • Lesson 7: Emergency Care – First Aid, CPR and AED Skills

  • Lesson 8: Review & Final Examination
